About

Hi! I'm Landon. I am a first year Logic, Computation and Methodology PhD student at Carnegie Mellon University.  My research interests are at the intersection of belief, language, and choice.

I completed my Master's degree at Carleton University in the Cognitive Science department's Logic and Language (LoLa) lab. I completed my undergraduate degree across the canal at the University of Ottawa in Economics, minoring in Mathematics. I grew up in Toronto, Canada.

I am interested in applications bridging pragmatic and economic principles to describe how information and beliefs spread through social networks and to create representations of semantic memory and meaning in the mind. I am also fond of taking projects in the public policy area if they speak to me personally (i.e. involving food insecurity, education access, or a Canadian population.)

Please note I do not use social media; email me if you'd like to reach out.
